^MJS BioLynx Inc. is a Canadian life sciences distribution company with over 40 years of distribution experience in Canada gained through our sister company Chromatographic Specialties Inc. ^MJS BioLynx, a privately owned Canadian company, was federally incorporated in February 1998 to fulfill the needs of Chromatographic Specialties' growing life science customer base. Through its relationship with Chromatographic Specialties, BioLynx has developed strong associations with major worldwide suppliers.

^MJS BioLynx specializes in providing high quality products for protein chemistry, immunology, molecular biology and microbiology as well as other life science disciplines. We are committed to providing technical expertise and superior customer service while maintaining a high inventory in order to ensure fast product delivery. Our bilingual staff and our Canada-wide Technical Sales Representatives work hard keeping customers informed of new products, new techniques and cutting-edge technology. Technical Support Specialist - Life Sciences

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for our product lines. This responsibility includes solving technical issues and product performance inquiries, providing application support, and finding product equivalencies
• Work with the Technical Sales Representatives to effectively support and grow our customer base
• Prepare and present technical product training
• Provide marketing assistance
• Provide field support visits/customer visits as required; prepare for and participate in tradeshows  as required
• Assist in investigating potential new suppliers or product lines to carry

Skills Required:

• Knowledge in the Life Sciences (i.e. Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Protein Chemistry) gained through education ant at least one year of hands-on laboratory experience.  Knowledge of chromatography is an asset
• Sales, technical marketing, technical writing and customer service experience are considered assets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual (French and English)
• Ability and desire to travel as required

Technical Support Specialist - Chromatography

Our sister company, Chromatographic Specialties Inc., a leading supplier of chromatography consumables and instrumentation to the Canadian scientific community, is in need of a qualified scientist to join their Technical Support Team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for our product lines. This responsibility includes handling technical issues, product performance problems, application support, and finding product equivalencies
• Work with our Technical Sales Representatives to effectively support and grow our customer base
• Prepare and present technical product training
• Provide marketing assistance
• Perform field support visits/customer visits as required; prepare for and participate in tradeshows as required
• Assist in investigating potential new suppliers or product lines

Skills Required:

• Hands on chromatography and sample preparation knowledge (i.e. GC, HPLC, SPE, standards, etc) gained through education and at least one year of laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of lifescience laboratory practices and techniques is an asset
• Sales, technical marketing, scientific writing, customer service experience and bilingualism (English and French) are considered assets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability and desire to travel as required
