In 1963, John and Margaret McKend founded Chromatographic Specialties (CSI). CSI has since evolved into the largest supplier of products for the Canadian chromatography market. During the Eastern Canada ice storm of 1998, MJS BioLynx Inc., a new family-owned and operated company emerged. MJS BioLynx Inc. was created to fulfill the needs of a growing Life Sciences customer base in Canada. From 1998-2023, these companies operated independently. However, as Life Science and Chromatography research intertwined more and more over the years, the two companies merged, now known as Chromatographic Specialties Inc., with MJS BioLynx remaining as the Life Science division.
MJS BioLynx specializes in providing high quality products for protein chemistry, immunology, molecular biology and microbiology as well as other life science disciplines. We are committed to providing technical expertise and superior customer service while maintaining a high inventory in order to ensure fast product delivery. Our bilingual staff and our Canada-wide Technical Sales Representatives work hard keeping customers informed of new products, new techniques and cutting-edge technology. Target mailings, seminars, tradeshows, meetings with our Technical Sales Representatives and discussions with our educated Technical Support Staff are all vehicles for this exchange of information.
